	2	DeJong, Meindert Shadrach Maurice Sendack Lutterworth Press 1957 First Edition (UK) Hardcover Very Good Good Book !st UK edition, 2nd impression according to the jacket. Illustrated in b/w by Maurice Sendak. The book is still tightly bound and the covers are in good condition. There is no inscription or ownership markings but there are some pencil marks now erased on the front & rear endpapers & the title page - these are hardly noticeable except on the rear endpapers where the pencil must have been sharper. The rear endpapers are also a bit grubby. Inside the book is clean and there are no torn, loose or missing pages. The jacket is worn around the edges with some small tears but there is minimal of loss. jacket is price clipped. Price: 27.00 GBP
